Lumpur Sidoarjo (LUSI) mudflow, East Java – September 2021

Activity of the Volcano:

The mudflow is still active. A white plume was seen rising from the main area of activity, to heights around 50-100m.  Compared to my last visit in 2020, the mudflow now seem to have 2 distinct eruption centres.
